At Carey's Custom Woodworking, our specialty lies in crafting high-end residential cabinetry. Our passion extends far beyond just kitchens and bathrooms. We create custom cabinetry for every nook and cranny of your home. Whether it's cozy built-ins, wine cellars, built-in Murphy beds, bunk rooms, hidden doors, or beautiful wood countertops, if you can imagine it, we can bring it to life.

Our style options are as diverse as your tastes, ranging from the inviting warmth of rustic charm to the sleek lines of contemporary design and timeless traditional woodworking. We offer both face-framed cabinetry, with choices of inset and overlay doors, and the clean, modern lines of European-style frameless cabinetry.

While we do tackle select commercial projects that demand top-tier cabinetry, our true passion lies in crafting high-end residential solutions that not only meet but surpass your expectations.

Design

We provide comprehensive design services for your cabinetry, complete with 2D and 3D drawings. Some clients come to us with their interior designer or architect already in place, ready to finalize the cabinetry. However, if you don't have a designer or architect, we can assist you in crafting the perfect cabinetry design for your home.

Finish

Our cabinet finishing services encompass both painting and staining for your cabinetry. You have the flexibility to choose between in-house or on-site finishing. Our standard finishes usually feature a conversion varnish, or Benjamin Moore advanced finish. However, we're more than willing to accommodate other finish preferences upon customer request. 

Build

All our cabinetry, from construction to assembly, takes place right here in our shop. We don't conform to standard cabinet sizes, but instead, we specialize in crafting cabinets that maximize every inch of your available space. However, to enhance the variety of cabinet door options for our clients, we've partnered with a fantastic company in Salem, Cabdoor, to outsource the production of our cabinet doors and dovetail drawer boxes. While we do craft a few door styles in-house, this collaboration allows us to provide a broader selection, catering to a wide range of tastes and styles.

Delivery & Installation

Carey's provides delivery and installation of our cabinetry in-house without outsourcing. We have an excellent team of highly experienced installers.

Refacing and Refinishing

We don't offer cabinet refacing or refinishing services, but we can help you give your space a fresh look without a complete overhaul. We provide new drawer fronts, drawer boxes, and doors. You can choose to get all these elements for your project or opt for individual pieces. We also offer Blum soft close drawer slides and door hardware as needed. It's a cost-effective and practical alternative to starting from scratch.
